Small people, bigger and very tall
A series of small carvings.
The beaded ring in front of the carving is what some women wear arrounf their necks. inside diamater about 5 inches (125 mm) to give you some proportian.
Against a window for the taller ones.
Did I mention that I live in a forest?
The Taller ones with more detail.
They are about 450 mm tall.
The genre of this painting is called "Tinga - Tinga".
On the painting they are more than a meter tall.

Wham, Bam, Thank You Ma'm - or Small Thing's Fussing.
Hi didn't I see you at the "last dead duck"
You wore the same coat.
Thought so.
Keep on talking, I do listen.
I am so glad you enjoyed that.
Tata.
Nevermind the absolute mindlessness of the above post.

An email I received:
Dear KeesKennis,
As the President of the Most Beautiful Crane Association and as voted Mrz Crane Ngorongoro 2006, I have to point out that talking about a blue crane making the headlines, will, from a bird’s view not gain you any credits.
This is my Mate.
We do not, as your stupid photo’s reflect, have our noses to the ground to get the best breakfast, we can look as far as 7 meters ahead (that’s 22 feet for the likes of Son, Smith & Guyk)
(They cannot focus at all – ed)
Oh Yes We Can.
Despite the fact that you paid US Dollars @ 1 : 1113597 for the $%£”&*() grasshopper (OUR CURRENCY) to see us, you do not rule our lives.
(That is correct, despite the ridicules exchange we only saw them once - ed)
At the very least you can link us to a DIVA.
"Don’t worry we have done it already (Thanks-SUPER CRANE)"
Even after the 50,000,000 "special fee" that you paid me, did you think that we would consider, Son, Smith & Guyk as diva's?
Thank you, again for a whole 15 lbs of the good stuff (They actually charged only 4 kg at the bait shop- ed).
We do not understand this: however, we try our best.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Get the wise guy that wants to be the best about writing about our droppings, to reflect the desire to visit you. Please do not get into name-calling.
2) Get the other "man" that reflects his desire not to be chopped down by somebody cutting the grass on our many roads to come and visit.
3) Get Guyk to come visit for the fishing.
Please note that WE (The Cranes) did not ask for the above picture to be posted.
We do not know whether: this is a gratuious grab for grasshoppers or not; however, we do believe that an Aasvoël (Vulture) only reflects some of the thoughts of those mentioned. (Sure-ed).
Signed.

Thank you to Velociman.
Thank you to Guyk.
Thank You to Acidman.
Thank You to everyone that has visited this site.
And a Special Thank You to everybody that has left a comment.
WE the SUPER CRANES and even the blue cranes believe that Keesie (Right's Protected-Velociman) is almost certainly a man with his head underwater.
And WE the SUPER CRANES and even the blue cranes believe that Wise Ass (Right's Protected-Acidman) is almost certainly a man with his head underwater.
And further WE the SUPER CRANES and even the blue cranes believe that keeskennis (Right's Protected-Guyk) is almost certainly a man with his head underwater.

Bigger Lizzard's
Lesser Kudu when not playing the (b)leeding role as described below.
The big one is not the biggest I have seen, my estimate at the time was plus minus 12 feet. I have seen one that was over 16 feet.
They kill many people in Africa.
I have seen a kill where the croc just took the Lesser Kudu by the leg and reversed into the water.
This beauty resides in the Ruaha river on the Ruaha Park's border

Lizzard's
This is most probably the biggest Moniter Lizzard that I have seen.
They are very shy and dissapear quickly.
I have handled smaller specimens and they are very strong, all muscle and bone.
I do not know whether this is a male or female.
I know that they smell with their tongues.
Taken in Ruaha after good rains.

Why?
I am sure there are reasons why they evolved like this, I am not so sure that these were properly thought through.
In my many years in the bush I always look on in amusement and always point the camera.
A while ago in another country a Mayor of a biggish town won re-election and he decided to have a Mayoral Feast, with a multiple giraffe-neck rotisserie braai (barbeque) for the constituents. This was welcomed by all.
A week or so later while the orginisation was going on a PETA group came to his town to visit a nearby Nature Reserve.
All hell broke loose. Tree and bunny huggers descended by mail, advertisements and meetings on his head.
Some newspapers and people say today that he did not understand because he was not a first language english speaker.
I have had many talks and meetings with him, I believe (know) he understood very well.
He sent all the complainers COMPLIMENTARY tickets, each with a note saying "Sorry I did not know that your Esteemed Pressence was in town.
They all shup up after being buttered up. Morals?
A great time was had by all
He was re-elected two more times before he retired.
Hot Air - At last a topic that I can link to MM
Early, not sparrows fart, but early, enough hot air to give you lift off.
A very hot flame creating even more hot air
We are now serene, over the Serengeti, the joy!
If you write a blog about nothing to pass the time, it is very difficult to find a link to your favourite Lady blogger.
(education refferal thrown in)
I learnt under British tutalage how to spell 'difficulty', with this rhyme.
Mister dee, mister eye, mister efefeye, mister see, mister you, mister elteewhy.
So this post is dedicated to her, she has no compromise and I support that fully.
My next post will cover immigration.
Immigration
They cross the road at random, they dont know the basic road rules.
They don't understand english.
There are always somebody who likes or would promote immigration, the guys and dolls in the forefront is exploiting this scenario to the fullest.
We believe that the grass is greener on the other side.

If you are built like this, even if you only have 5 teeth between the 3 of you, nobody is going to tell you that you cannot drink out of the pool.
I watched the tourists on the pool deck (Belgium's on their first day) for a while, they did not move or blink or turn a page.
After an episode like this they finaly believe that they must call a guide before they venture from their tents.
The picture was taken at Tandala Tented camp in Dec 2005 when it was very dry.
Tandala is 9 km outside the Ruaha Reservation

This lady can remember where she was taken by her mother 9 years ago.
She was born to the title of head baboon.
Baboons have a caste system that keeps going on and on.
Bosses are bosses and that includes their children.
Slaves are slaves and that includes their children.
If she (and it is allways a she) does not remember where to find the food in a dry year, everybody dies.
Thanks GUYK

Zebras - Schlong dong or as you will
If you are looking where I am looking and you have more stripes than a corporal
(apologies extended) you will get exited as well.
You know, the way that that tail gets tighter and tighter, in just's make's my day, yanow.
UPDATE
And from Acidman comments after he lifted my photo
Looks like an old boyfriend of mine. The tongue wasn't enough though..mwahahaha

Well Lisa how about a Zebra/Buff.
That would not hurt, or am I wrong.
By the way:
All photos are for lifting, just say from where.
I will, and if Blogger wills, update ny template to reflect that.
For Erica, bovinically speaking, of course
Not one step closer, not even if you are the "buff god". which you are not, you are simply someone with the knowledge of a baboon, hiding in that blue nissan patrol, (it is obviously a 2 or 3 year old model, please come out and fight, the last imbicile I trampled is recovering in a hospital in the US, to my disgust.
Acidman comments.
I don't know what it is about that photo ... but I just can't stop staring at it. He sure is a fine-looking figure of an animal, bovinically speaking.

Very funny ... I am, of course, flattered beyond words. Something about that bull's head make me wanna tell a knock-knock joke to him, but in the event that I'd be mauled, I'll keep a bit of a distance.

Chomp
This is the jaw bone of a hippo
As you notice the above the nice and cuddly feelings of the pictures below start to disappear.
You will of course notice that the tooth (left or right, not both, because they are to wide apart) will enter your breast and exit just under your shoulder blade.
All of us cuddling up for a tan.
This is a multicultural beach, no discrimination, if you are not big enough or strong enough, we WILL stomp and eat you or eat you unstomped.
I will soon (about 5 years - ed) grow into my grandpappy's jaw.

Just damn! I'm allergic to henna. I got a paint-on tattoo in Key West a few years ago and I STILL have a scar from it.
I'll stick to painting toenails red...

Acidman.
It must be age.
The painting of the Eye got all inflamed and very sensitive.
If you look at the photo, the bit below eye level is all knobbly (is that a word?)
It must be age as I am still drinking.
I love this.
Please keep commenting and linking.
