It has been many years since I have given up hunting and these days I would rather take a shot with a camera or just look.
That does not mean that I do not eat meat or even hunted meat.
Gemsbok (Oryx) fillet.

I feel about the same..I don't like to shoot what I don't eat although when I have to I will kill varmits such as feral cats and crows that run
my birds off the feeders..I will kill a fish to eat though and wild hogs

Though I enjoy hunting, I don't enjoy killing; if I am not planning on eating an animal, I will not shoot it.
The oryx looks interesting; does the flavor resemble any of the other common types of meat (beef, lamb, pork, etc)?
