We are becoming a bunch of sissies
Lusaka airport now have fans.
It is only about 45 deg C or 113 deg F, so what the hell.
Comments:
I am a big sissy! I would have been crying about only having fans when it was 113 degrees...bring me my central air stat!

I'd be dead at that temperature! Yikes - I can handle the cold but not the EXTREME heat and to me, that's extreme!

Nice clean airport waiting room. I see that your security line isn't causing anyone to be late for their flight!

I'll bet a person could make a fortune selling cold beer there.

I thought they were for sticking your tongue in when you got bored waiting.

113F is a bit warm..but a fan don't help much..just blows warm air around. Now, a big glass of Iced Tea though...

That's an airport?
It looks like a step above solitary confinement. In hell.

At 113 degrees, you could put a fork in my Jersey ass.

113 degrees doesn't sound too bad. It was warmer than that here in Phoenix this past summer, and I don't have A/C.

If the concourse at O'Hare international airport in Chicago ever got to 113 degrees, it would be a big hairy crisis and people would be filing lawsuits.
It amazes me the range of conditions people live perfectly well. What's really strange is the rigid climate control that is considered "normal".
