Optimist or pessimist
What do you see first, the awesome beauty or the dangerous road?
Ok, Ok, I know the road is most probably not as dangerous as it looks.
Any Washingtonian been here?
This is Columbia river gorge in Washington State and the photo comes from JanTik .
It is amazing what someone with a good eye and a camera can do.

I saw the water first - great day for a paddle, but the put-in point is around the bend and south about 40 miles. Watch out for the potholes in the road. The ridge dips dangerously to the left about 30 yards, at which time you'll be prudent to portage the last 30 feet. Heh. I thought of you, Kees, when I saw this today:http://isaiahknows.blogspot.com/2006/07/what-would-happen.html

Those are the kind of roads I live for. I want new tires and a nimble car.
